Many people read books/articles, literature research in a library (Yes, they do still exist!), take expert advice from professionals, or Google search, topics, questions, or whatever comes to mind, with the hope of learning or “reformatting” a previous thought or idea in their brains. I do all of the above and watch documentaries. To me, documentaries are visual sources for anyone from all walks of life to speak their point of view, sometimes partnering with experts or watching them become experts in the making. By videoing their journey of a new topic or revising an existing case or sometimes, tragedy, those that view either learn something, form their own opinion (agreeing or opposing the person’s perspective), or change their entire life, because what they just watched impacted them so.

This was my case. And these are the documentaries that changed my life for the better.

Yes, I had some moments where I resorted back to my old, unhealthy ways, but I found myself rewatching some of these so it stuck, finding other food alternatives, or simply cutting out things altogether because my body said so.

Some of the documentaries are graphic but necessary, so BEWARE! Some will make you cry and some will make you angry that you didn’t know until now. But life is an experience of constant change and learning, so be easy on yourself. Watch with an open-mind and spirit and you will get what YOU need to receive or share from watching.

If you have watched any of these, let me know your thoughts or share some new ones for me to digest in! Leave in the ‘Comments’ box below.
