I will post my favorite tea(s) that I may be currently drinking or purchased in the store because I had no discipline and it wasn’t on my list :). My love for teas highly likely came from my mom’s love for them and benefits I received when I partake them regularly. I believe drinking tea, hot or cold, is the easiest form of showing self-love. Some uplift your spirits, detox the gut, and make you pass out from a long day, they are just DOPE like that. Some may not like the taste, too bitter or carry an aroma thats not the best, but let me tell ya, adding a lil honey/agave/ whatever sweetner, ACV (apple cider vinegar), and sometimes a spice (we’ll discuss) can change the game!

Let the tea finesse begin…

*Peppermint Tea*…was “mint” for me..get it?

The tea I purchase comes from this wonderful place where you can buy health/earth groceries and products, called Trader Joe’s. (I love this place!)

Heads up, please purchase from the store, if you have one in your area because other sellers dramatically increase the price. I purchase a box for $2.49! Nothing more, nothing less.

If no TJ in site, always grab an organic brand to ensure you reap ALL the benefits.

Benefits:

  • Peppermint tea is great for digestion, soothing to the stomach.1
  • Refreshes the breath and reduces mouth inflammation, if consumed in a tea or chewing on the leaves.1
  • Clears the sinuses, head, and chest, when congested. 1
  • Immune booster, due to its levels of potassium, vitamin B and calcium.
